Seminarstadl

The Seminarstadl contains a meeting room for up to 40 people.

A particular technique (Bundwerk) was used to build this house typical of the Gurktal. The stoned barn area is found on the ground floor, the timbered upper floor, however, was used as threshing floor and barn space. Due to the neglected condition of the object, only some wall elements could be authentically rebuilt. Both the brick part, as well as the roof had to be reconstructed. The Lemischstadel was donated to the Carinthian open-air museum in 2002 by the family Lemisch from Gurk. Since its opening in September 2002, it has served as a meeting room with appropriate modern infrastructure.
